Messi Or Ronaldo; Check Greenwood Answer

Manchester United forward Mason Greenwood has offered his feedback on the GOAT banter between Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi.

It is an account that normal rules water cooler talk betweens enthusiasts of the game: Messi or Ronaldo? What's more, Greenwood has now said something with his own appraisal, accepting the Barcelona legend is better than the previous Manchester United forward.

Given Greenwood's present direction, the 19-year-old could yet proceed to have a comparative effect on Ronaldo's at Old Trafford, wherein the Juventus marksman won three Premier League titles and the 2008 Champions League, yet he has tossed his weight behind Messi for GOAT boasting rights.

The adolescent ability featured Messi's new Copa America win with Argentina as a key motivation behind why the Barca star is unparalleled, with Lionel Scaloni's commander finishing an extended hang tight for that always tricky prize at global level, joining Ronaldo in that division, who won Euro 2016.

During a Q&A meeting on Man Utd's official site, Greenwood reacted to the inquiry 'Messi or Ronaldo?': "As far as I might be concerned, it's constantly had the opportunity to be Messi. He's simply on another planet.

"Ronaldo is clearly stunning, a physical, extraordinary athletic footballer, yet to do what Messi does at his size, how he's helped Barcelona and winning that prize [Copa America] for Argentina, he is simply on another level."

Greenwood proceeded to examine a portion of the players that impacted and molded his own game during his early stages, namedropping Ronaldo Nazario as a forward who fostered his appreciation for ability and imaginative style.

He added:"My most loved ability move was the stepover I actually use it right up 'til the present time.

"It's my #1 ability move. I used to watch the Brazilian Ronaldo, as he would consistently haul one out on the goalkeepers and safeguards.

"I used to rehearse at the parks and stuff and used to do it in instructional courses, then, at that point that would lead on to games. Presently, it's simply stayed with me, it's a little ability move that I practice."
