BetPawa Premier League: Abdul Aziz Nurudeen grabs MOTM Award in Hearts of Oak first win of the season

Hearts of Oak midfielder Abdul Aziz Nurudeen was adjudged the Man of the Match in the club's 1-0 win over Nsoatreman FC at the Accra Sports Stadium on Sunday.

The diminutive midfielder marshaled the team's midfield to inspire a slim win for the side in front of their home fans.

Abdul Aziz has gone through difficult times in his playing career especially since his move to Hearts of Oak from Vision FC as he has battled with injuries on countless ocassions and has survived them all.

He was absent for the "Phobia" side throughout last season that saw them narrowly escape relegation due to a knee injury.

In the club's maiden game of the season in Tamale last week, even though he came on as a substitute, he gave Hearts of Oak what they lacked in his short cameo where he provided stability and grit to the team that lost late in the game.

Should Hearts of Oak do well in the season and achieve their objective of annexing the season's diadem, the influence of Abdul Aziz would be crucial for the side.

He goes home with a 16 inch NASCO stand fan and a mobile phone device.
