BetPawa Premier League: Preview - Accra Lions vs Legon Cities

Accra Lions will host Legon Cities at the WAFA Park at Sogakope for their Match Day 2 encounter of the BetPawa Premier League.

Accra Lions picked up a point in Match Day 1 at the difficult Akoon Park at Tarkwa against Medeama SC in a 2-2 draw game that saw the Ghanaian champions equalizing twice in the game.

Having done their preseason on a low key, Ibrahim Tanko's side will prove to be a strong customer to opponents just as they did against Medeama.

Moving to Sogakope as their new home grounds from Accra will be the right path for the kind of game Accra Lions will want to display on the field as a side with free flowing football.

The home side narrowly escaped relegation last season after a brilliant start to the season and will be hoping to galvanize points as much as they can before midway through the season.

New faces have been seen in the Legon Cities set up including the technical department led by Paa Kwesi Fabian who took over from Maxwell Konadu this season.

To prove a point after the razzmatazz that surrounded the team during the preseason period, Paa Kwesi Fabian's will be hoping to hold forth from where they left off in Match Day 1 against Karela United where they came from behind to win 2-1.

On the road, Legon Cities have not been a good side on record and will be looking forward not to disappoint at Sogakope, a ground that looks neutral to both sides.

At 3 o'clock, live on Startime Adepa Channel, it will be a game with all certainty from both ends that all three points is what is at stake from any of the side without dropping a point.

As to who wins it, will be left with the team that utilizes their chances well in the game.
