BetPawa Premier League: Saaka sweeps MOTM in Bofoakwa win against RTU

Bofoakwa Tano skipper Saaka Dauda sweeps home the Man of the Match award in the club's 2-1 victory over Real Tamale United at the Coronation Park in Sunyani.

Dauda led his team to a difficult but sweet victory to record the club's maiden win in the 2023/24 season.

The 22-year-old opened the scoring in the early exchanges of the first half through a well calculated free kick which gave Bofoakwa Tano the led into the first half.

The visiting side who had had a late victory in their season opener against Hearts of Oak last weekend came back stronger in the second to get a goal but was not enough to seal the win for Bofoakwa side.

Saaka Dauda dominated proceedings in the middle of the park to berate any threats from the opposition side to ensure his side holds onto their continuous run of form.

He has been an indispensable figure within the ranks of the team playing a major role in the club's promotion to top tier football after 16 years in wilderness.

He went home with a 16 inch NASCO stand fan.

Bofoakwa Tano drew their first match of the season in Accra against Great Olympics after winning the Division One Super League held at the Dr. Kwame Kyei Sports Complex.

They top the BetPawa Ghana Premier League table with 4 points in the interim before league games continue on Saturday and Sunday.
