CAF Confederations Cup: Dreams FC make group stage in debut season

 Ghana Premier League side Dreams FC have secured a place into the next phase of the CAF Confederations Cup after drawing 1-1 with FC Kallon in Liberia. 


Dreams FC led the game into the first half with a goal from Agyenim Boateng through the spot to brighten the club's chances of making it to the next round.

The home side, upon realization of being eliminated, upped their game to get the equalizer late in the game which, could not destabilize the away side who were resilient to fulfill the quest of making an impact in the competition. 

The Ghanaian FA Cup winners progressed further on a 3-2 aggregate to make history for themselves and Ghana as a whole.

Dreams FC return home to continue their participation in the Ghana Premier League. 

Early on in Guinea, fellow Ghanaian side, Medeama SC have also booked their place in the group stages of the CAF Champions League defeating giants Horoya AC by 4-3 on aggregate. 

This place Ghana Football on a high as two clubs from Ghana have made it successfully into the group stages of the Africa Club Competition.
