CAF to announce host for the next three AFCON editions after Cote D'ivoire

 The Confederations of Africa Football, CAF will be announcing the host of the next three Africa Cup of Nations after that of Ivory Coast on Wednesday, 27 September, 2023.


The 34th edition of the biennial tournament will be held from January 13 to February 11th 2024 in Ivory Coast, a tournament originally supposed to be held in June 2023 but due to COVID 19 constraints, it was pushed to January 2024.


The tournament will be reinstated to its original schedule of June to July in 2025 which will be hosted by Morocco, the only Africa semi finalist at the FIFA World Cup history.


The defending champions of the tournament Senegal will be welcoming the content in 2027 before Nigeria and Benin will combine to host the tournament in 2029.


Guinea where supposed to be the host of the tournament but were stripped off the hosting right due to a coup d'etat in the country in 2022.


With Morocco's readily available facilities, the North African country will replace Guinea as will be announce on Wednesday by CAF.
