Horoya AC announce free gate for Medeama encounter


 Guinean side Horoya AC have announced a free gate for spectators ahead of the club's second leg encounter of the second round of the CAF Champions League encounter against Ghanaian side Medeama SC.


Medeama SC beat Horoya by 3 goals to 1 at the Cape Coast Sports Stadium in the first leg encounter and Horoya SC will be needing two unanswered goals to make it into the group stages of the 2023/24 CAF Champions League season.

Reports emanating from Guinea indicate Horoya SC will be allowing teeming supporters of the club to troop into the stadium to cheer the team on to defeat Medeama at the 30,000 capacity General Lansana Conte Stadium. 

Horoya SC have been a traditional figure in the Africa Club Competition over the years and are on the blink of elimination after losing in Ghana a forthnight ago.

Lappe Bangoura's side entered the competition in the second round after been placed on standby due to their sterling performance in Africa over the years.

The Ghanaian champions who defeated Remo Stars from Nigeria in the first round are poised to making it into the group stages of the competition as Ghanaian clubs have struggled over the years to make meaningful impact in Africa.

The game comes off this weekend at the General Lansana Conte Stadium on Saturday at 4 PM Ghanaian time.
