Midfielder of Accra Hearts of Oak Abdul Aziz Nurudeen is in cloud nine having won the Most Valuable Player in their game against Nsoatreman FC in the BetPawa Premier League Match Day 2 at the Accra Sports Stadium.
After going under the knife throughout the 2022/2023 season, the midfielder has expressed awe feeling winning the Man of the Match award.
The 25-year-old believes he has put in a lot of effort to be able to return on the pitch and contribute to the club's purposeful journey this season.
"It is an awesome feeling, I did not expect it, after one year getting laid off the field, coming back to win the MOTM, I have put in a lot of work to have won it" - Abdul Aziz Nurudeen told the media after the game.
Abdul Aziz joined Hearts of Oak from Vision FC in the 2018/19 season but has had a lot of hiccups in his time with the club via recurring injuries.
