Koopman says Sunday's win just a starting point for Hearts of Oak

Head coach of Hearts of Oak Martin Koopman has expressed his joy on getting the first win of the season after beating Nsoatreman FC by a goal to nil at the Accra Sports Stadium.

Koopman recorded Hearts of Oak's first win in three games at the Accra Sports Stadium via Kashala Wanet Ramos's 4th minutes goal.

In expressing his joy for grabbing the needed three points in the game, the 67-year-old gaffer believes continuous learning with the playing body after every game will go a long way in churning out good results for the club.

He ambitiously reiterated that Sunday's win is not the end of the road, however, the beginning of better things to come for the club and looking forward to subsequent games.

"It is not easy for the first round games. It is always tensed. They played a very good game. I'm happy about the three points. I must learn with the players and must learn also the kind of coach I am. This is not the end but the beginning."

Hearts of Oak defeated Maxwell Konadu who led Nsoatreman FC for the first time in his career.

The victory sparked joy to the entire Hearts of Oak fraternity after the game as a tonic to relieving them off the disappointment in Match Day 1's result in Tamale against RTU where they lost late in the game.
