NOW: Oppong Afrane joins Hearts of Oak

Ghana Premier League side Hearts of Oak have completed the transfer of King Faisal defender David Oppong Afrane on a permanent deal.

The Ghana U-23 defender will be completing his move to the 21-times Ghana Champions next week after he completes his mandatory medicals later this weekend.

Hearts of Oak agreed to meet the selling price of Kumasi King Faisal of GHc150,000 with juicy onwards transfer of 70/30 percent to the Division League side.

Even though the Ghanaian transfer market is closed few days before the start of the 2023/24 BetPawa Ghana Premier League, reports indicate Hearts of Oak have already made the necessary registration to make him available for the side when the deal is completed.

The 21-year-old has seen a monstrous rise in his playing career since joining King Faisal two seasons ago from a justify your inclusion.

It can also be reported that, it is likely Oppong Afrane will be moving to Europe in January and should the deal fail to go through, the terms in the contract will change to 70/30 for Hearts of Oak.

Oppong Afrane was an integral part of the King Faisal team that struggled to survive top tier football in Ghana since their promotion before the start of the 2019/20 season.
