2024 NDC Parliamentary Candidate acquires Football Club

 Ghanaian Politician, Edem Agbana has ventured into full time football by acquiring youth side Nukunu Soccer Academy in the Volta Region.


The NDC Parliament Candidate for Ketu North has openly expressed his hidden passion for football by taking over the activities of the club to serve as a source of income for talented youth within his constituency.


The former Deputy Youth Organizer of NDC took to his X page to express his happiness to adding to his long support to football growth by taking over Nukunu Soccer Academy.


"I’ve always had a deep passion for football, actively supporting numerous local teams & coordinating football events for more thana decade. However, my latest endeavor, @Nukunu_sa , truly ignites my excitement. I‘m investing my heart & soul into this project, aiming for it to serve as a launch pad for budding talents in Ketu North &  beyond." Edem Agbana scribed.


Edem Agbana joins the latest queue of politician who are investing in football in Ghana.


Former Minority Leader in Parliament and MP for Tamale South, Hon. Haruna Iddrisu fully owns Ghana Premier League side Karela United whereas MP for Hohoe John Peter Amewu has purchased Division One League side Liberty Professionals and has renamed it to Hohoe United FC.
