Arsenal star Eddie Nketiah dropped for Italy clash, available to play for Ghana

 England National Team coach Gareth Southgate has dropped Eddie Nketiah in England's next game against Italy for the Euro 2022 Qualifiers on Tuesday evening.



Eddie Nketiah had his maiden call up to the English National Team for the October 2023 international break and had his maiden game against Australia where he came on as a substitute.


However, the 24-year-old has been dropped by the manager for tonight's game which makes him available to represent Ghana in the future.


Head coach of the Black Stars, Chris Hughton has severally spoken about his desire to lure Eddie Nketiah into the National team of Ghana and this comes as an opportune time for him to be fulfill his desire.


Ghana has recently called other players of foreign descent and have contributed to Ghana’s qualification to tournaments.


Athletico Bilbao's Inaki Williams and Bournemouth's Antoine Semenyo have proven pivot for Ghana’s team under Chris Hughton and hopefully, Eddie Nketiah will join as Ghana prepares for the 2023 AFCON in Ivory Coast and 2026 FIFA World Cup Qualifiers in November.
