Asante Kotoko to test strength on Wednesday in a friendly game

Asante Kotoko will be taking on lower tier side Namoro Academy in a club friendly on Wednesday at the Paa Joe Park at the KNUST, Kumasi.

Asante Kotoko have adopted the university's park as their training grounds for the 2023/24 season as the Adako Jachie training grounds is being developed.

The club will host Namoro Academy to test their mettle ahead of their next BetPawa Premier League game against Accra Lions on Monday.

Dr. Prosper Narteh Ogum's side have had a patchy start to the season, yet to record a single win after three games : 2 draws and 1 lost and will use the friendly match to right all the wrongs that have been identified so far this season.

The 24-times Ghanaian champions have seen a lot of new faces during the transfer window which is taking the club time to gel and start getting the results they need.

Plethora of games at the club's disposal will ensure the newcomers in the team form a strong camaraderie with the old ones which makes the friendly against Namoro Academy a good test for the "Porcupine Warriors".

As it stands, Asante Kotoko are 17th on the league table with two points after three games.
