BetPawa Premier League: Amankona, Adomako, others shortlisted for POTM of September

ie for the Player of the Month of Sept 2023.


Berekum Chelsea's Stephen Amankona is among the five players after displaying excellent outings in the first three games for the club scoring three times and winning one Man of the Match award.


The Player has gone through patchy moments in his career since he left Berekum to Asante Kotoko two seasons ago but has returned home to begin a resurgence in his career.


Former Asante Kotoko striker Evans Adomako Wiredu has been on resounding form this season for Karela United where he has scored three times in three games and winning one Most Valuable Player.


After a torrid time in Kumasi with Asante Kotoko, he confirmed his loan move with a long term contract with Karela and scored against them in Kumasi in their Match Day 3 fixture.


Newcomers, Bofoakwa Tano have two of their players in the shortlisted five in captain Saaka Dauda and Elijah Addai who have cushioned the side at the summit of the league table after four round of matches.


Saaka Dauda scored twice in the month of September winning two MVP's whereas Elijah Addai won one MVP.


Samartex 1996 attacker who won the goaling in last season's Division One League, Baba Hamidu Issa completes the list with two goals in three games with one Man of the Match award.


The winner will be announced later this week with the winner going home with NASCO products.
