Bibiani Goldstars welcomed Hearts of Lions at the Dun's Park for their Match Day 6 encounter of the BetPawa Premier League.
The game ended in a 2-2 draw game that saw a flurry of goals after the break with Alex Aso and Appiah McCarthy scoring for the home side whiles Yakubu Mustapha Mumuni and Ebenezer Abban scoring at the other end for the visitors.
A goal was found in the game late in the first half when striker Alex Aso broke the virginity of the game on the 45th minute after pouncing on a parried ball by the Hearts of Lions goalkeeper from McCarthy's free kick.
The former Ashantigold midfielder added the second goal after half time from a free kick to put Goldstars in a comfortable lead on the 54th minute.
In a game fully dominated by Goldstars, Hearts of Lions picked up the pieces to return into the game with two unanswered goals through Yakubu Mumuni and Ebenezer Abban on the 57th and 73rd minute to bring the game at par.
Goldstars' poor defensive network gave Hearts of Lions the ability to get the two goals which settled the game for a point each after full time.
