CAF reject Cape Coast Stadium for Champions League and Confederations Cup games for Medeama and Dreams

The Confederations of Africa Football, CAF have rejected the Cape Coast Sports Stadium for the next phase of the Champions League and Confederations Cup.

After the CAF inspection team visited the facility few weeks ago, the report suggest the Cape Coast Sports Stadium does not meet the require standard to host the group stages of the Africa Club Competitions.

The report means that both Medeama SC and Dreams FC will have to resort to the Baba Yara Sports Stadium in Kumasi for their group stages games which kicks off later this month.

The Baba Yara Sports Stadium and the Cape Coast Sports Stadium were the two stadia in Ghana earmarked to host the game but the latter has been rejected thereon.
