Medeama SC defender Fatawu Abdul Hamid has joined the senior National Team of Ghana, Black Stars at the base in Tennessee, USA.
Fatawu Abdul Hamid did not join the Yellow and Mauve back to Ghana after their friendly encounter against SC United which they lost by 2-1 Saturday night.
Ghana also lost by 2-0 against Mexico in one of the two friendly games during this October 2023 FIFA International Break and will be coming up against USA on Tuesday evening.
The former Accra Lions defender joining the team will augment the squad after Celta Vigo defender Joseph Aidoo suffered a injury on the 27th minute against Mexico.
He has been part of the team in Ghana's last two games during the last AFCON Qualifier against CAR and had his debut against Liberia in an international friendly in Accra.
He will miss Medeama SC's next game in the BetPawa Premier League on Thursday.
