Ibrahim Tanko cries over painful loss to Asante Kotoko

 Head coach of Accra Lions, Ibrahim Tanko was full of worries after his side narrowly lost to Asante Kotoko in their Match Day 4 fixture of the Ghana Premier League.


Second half substitute for Asante Kotoko, Kalo Ouattara handed Accra Lions the defeat with the last kick of the game which gave Asante Kotoko their first win of the season.


The former Black Meteors coach insisted the manner in which the team lost to Asante Kotoko was "very painful" due to his side's lost of focused momentarily in the game.


Even though he pinpointed the side's deficiency in game, he believes a point would have been a fair reflection of the game.


"Very painful, lack of concentration. A draw could have been a fair results based on how the two teams played."


"One lack of concentration will cause you the three points. A minimum of one point would have been better for us," Ibrahim Tanko told the media. 


Accra Lions take on Great Olympics on Match Day 5 at the Accra Sports Stadium.
