OFFICIAL: Kwesi Appiah signs three-year-deal with the Sudan FA as head coach

Ghanaian coach James Kwesi Appiah has signed a three-year-deal with Sudan FA as the coach of the National team.

The former Black Stars gaffer joined the Sudanese National Team two weeks ago together with two other Ghanaian technical men to steer the affairs of the team.

Ignatius Osei Fosu and Fatau Dauda will be his assistant and goalkeepers coach in that order for the next three years.

They are tasked to help the Sudan National Team to make it to the AFCON 2025 in Morocco and qualify to the 2026 FIFA World Cup in USA.

The Ghanaian brains led the team to win a game and a draw during the international break against Chad and Mauritania respectively.

The Sudan FA currently operate in Saudi Arabia due to the political instability in the country, meaning Kwesi Appiah and his team will be working directly from Saudi Arabia.

Kwesi Appiah is part of the Executive Council Members of the Ghana Football Association and currently the Technical Director of Asante Kotoko SC.
