Unhappy Asante Kotoko coach bemoans points accumulated after six games

Head coach of Asante Kotoko SC, Dr. Prosper Narteh Ogum has expressed his dissatisfaction with the points gained so far this season after six round of games in the BetPawa Premier League.

The 24-times Ghanaian champions have garnered nine points after six games placing them 6th on the league table which the coach thinks with the work done thus far, the team should have gotten more than what they have presently.

In as much as the team have lost some valuable point in their games played so far, the coach cum psychologist reveals how precious lessons are picked from previous games to spark them into full gear for subsequent ones.

"I think as far as points accumulation is concerned, myself and the team are not happy because if you look at it, it means we have given half of the points away, it shouldn't happen if you look at the games we have played and the creativity in front of goal, we shouldn't be having 9 points.

"It is a lesson for us and looking at the rest of the matches left to end the first round, we should ensure we are the at the top there," Narteh Ogum lamented.

Asante Kotoko come up against Bechem United on Sunday at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium for their Match Day 7 fixture.
