Andre Ayew sees red in Le Havre debut in French Ligue 1

Ghana captain Andre Rami Morgan Ayew was sent off in Le Havre's game against Nantes at the Stade de la Beaujoire in his first game for the club.

Andre "Dede" Ayew joined the club before the November FIFA International Break but lasted only two minutes 48 seconds in his maiden game for the club.

The 34-year-old came on for Loic Nego on 65th minutes when the game was charged and needed experience hands to salvage the points for newly promoted side.

He got a straight red card on the 67th minutes cutting his debut short and a forgettable one.

Le Havre ended the game with a point after it ended batten at ninety minute to peck them 8th on the league log with 16 points after 13 games.

Having missed competitive football for six months, Dede Ayew captained Ghana in their World Cup Qualifier against Comoros in Moroni which Ghana lost by a lone goal.

This game against Nantes was his second competitive game in that spate but had nothing positive to talk about.
