BetPawa denies report of terminating contract with GFA as title sponsors of the GPL

 Betwapa have rubbished reportage on abrogating their three-years contract with the Ghana Football Association as the title sponsors of the Ghana Premier League.


Reports are rife in the media space that the online betting company have ended their marriage with the football association which the company is denying those assertions.


Management of the company, in a conversation with Ghana Web, intercepted by this media house, clarifies that they have rather extended their deal with the Association as they are having a profitable relationship with GFA by increasing the locker room bonus from GHS150. 00 to GHS400. 00.


BetPawa signed a three-year-deal with the Ghana Football Association in August 2022 agreeing to provide an astro turf pitch and other incentives after investing $2 million every year.


Developing reports indicate that, the Ghana Football Association is reviewing the deal and are asking questions on some agreements made in the contract which are yet to be fulfilled after one year.
