Bofoakwa Tano banned from using the Coronation Park

The Ghana Football Association have banned Bofoakwa Tano from using the Sunyani Coronation Park following the incident that happened in Match Day 11 between Bofoakwa Tano and Nsoatreman FC.

In a video that has gone viral on social media, Nsoatreman FC's coach, Maxwell Konadu was seen assaulted by the home side and is currently on admission at the hospital.

The Ghana Football Association's provisions states in Article 14(2) that "the GFA may order the closure of any league centre where the safety of clubs, Match Officials or Spectators cannot be guaranteed.”

With this, Bofoakwa Tano will be playing their next home games away from the Coronation Park until a substantive decision is made by the Disciplinary Committee of the Association to determine the punishment given them.

Bofoakwa Tano, as said by the GFA, have issued a statement on their willingness to comply with the necessary authority to unrival what happened on Sunday, 19 Nov, 2023 so as to bring the perpetuators of the act to book.
