FIFA 2026 World Cup Qualifier: Chris Hughton names starting XI against Comoros; makes three changes to that of Madagascar

 Head coach of Ghana Black Stars, Chris Hughton has named his starting XI for the game against Comoros.


Kassim Nuhu Adams comes in to replace injured Daniel Amartey who could not finish the game against Madagascar in Kumasi.


Denis Odoi Frimpong comes in to replace Alidu Seidu of Clermont Foot as he showed a powerful outing when he came on as a substitute last Friday. 


Captain Andre Ayew gets a place in the starting XI as he replaces injured Kudus Mohammed who picked up an injury at training and was passed unfit for this game. 


Antoine Semenyo who had a bad game against Madagascar maintains his position as the lead player in attack.


Change changer, Majeed Ashimeru continues to pick his place on the bench as he will be used as a super-substitute in case there comes a difficulty in the game.
