Immediately after Ashimeru's chance was saved, Madagascar tied off on a counter attack and almost got a goal but the shot from Andrianana went inches pass the post for a goal kick.

Madagascar were so determined and inspired enough to win this game and never gave up on getting a goal as they continued to attack. Striker Malala met a pull out in the air but the ball, unluckily enough, stuck the woodwork to spare Ghana on the 84th minute.

Ghana pushed harder to get a goal but goalkeeper Adrian saved Madagascar once more as he parried Kudus's near shot late in the game to keep the game pregnant of goals.
