Former Asante Kotoko defender Yussif Mubarik has joined Nepalese side FC Chitwan for the 2023/24 season.
The 27-year-old joined on a free transfer after the expiration of his contract with the Ghanaian side having enjoyed three seasons in Kumasi.
The former Ashantigold SC defender was part of the players who were let go off the club when the Interim Management Committee lead by Nana Kontomponiafere Hene was formed.
He joins two other Ghanaian players who ply their trade with FC Chitwan in Afriyie Acquah, a former Black Stars player and Rafiq Aminu, a center forward.
The Nepalese league is about to start and it is expected to have the Ghanaians lead charges for the 2023/24 season.
