NSA prepares Baba Yara Sports Stadium for Ghana's WC Qualifier against Madagascar

Ghana will take on Madagascar at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium in Kumasi later this month to commence her 2026 FIFA World Cup Qualifiers and the National Sports Authority, NSA have begun inspection to the facility.

Director General of the Authority, Prof Peter Twumasi was at the stadium on Monday to inspect the readiness of the facility to welcome the all important clash.

Baba Yara Sports Stadium is the only venue available in Ghana for host FIFA and CAF games after the Cape Coast Sports Stadium was rejected by the continent's governing body.

The venue has become the accepted home grounds for the Black Stars in recent years and has given Ghana's majority of victories to her four World Cup appearances.

Ghana is in the same group with Chad, Mali, Comoros, Mauritania and Madagascar.
