"We are going to write history" - Sundowns head coach ahead of AFL final

Head coach of Mamelodi Sundowns Rulani Mokwena has spoken passionately about the second leg encounter against Wydad Casablanca in the Africa Football League on Sunday.

Rulani envisages a historical moment with the club as they look set to annex the maiden edition of the competition at home soil.

Sundowns have a 2-1 score line to overturn after succumbing to a difficult game in Casablanca last week with the availability of attacker Peter Shalulile in doubt.

Ahead of the game, the gaffer explains that the team is ready to throw in all in order to get the desired results.

“We played in many stadiums but the most difficult one is Casablanca. We gave everything in the first leg and tried to win that game but we were unfortunate. We will go all out at home and try to write our names in history.” Rulani Mokwena said.

The final of the first edition of the Africa Football League will come off on Sunday at the Loftus Vesfeld Stadium in Pretoria.
