The Ghana Football Association, GFA have announced that the second transfer window for the 2023-24 football season which will be opened on Monday, December 18, 2023.
They further states that, the transfer window will be closed on Monday, January 15, 2023 to allow all Ghana Premier League and Division One clubs to transfer prayers in and out of their clubs before then.
This will allow teams to reinvigorate their squad as the seasons heads towards the end of the first round of matches.
It can be added that, the Ghana Football Association will not be extending the date for the transfer of active players with clubs when the set date elapses.
The Ghana football season will take a month hiatus for the 34th edition of the Africa Cup of Nations, AFCON, to be held in Ivory Coast from January to February 2024.
The Ghana Premier League enters Match Day 15 this weekend seeing Samartex 1996 occupying the summit of the league log with 26 points after 14 round of matches.
The first round of the Ghana Premier League will end on the 7th January, 2023 before AFCON starts on the 13th January, 2023.
