Ghana Premier League side Asante Kotoko SC have planned a 2024-25 preseason tour in Europe in Italy, Germany and Switzerland before new season starts.
The 24-times Ghanaian champions will start in Italy where they will train and strengthen themselves with a friendly against Serie A sides Genoa and Atalanta Bergamo.
The team will spend few days in Italy before they proceed to Germany to continue their planned training tour and then finish it in Switzerland, barring any unforeseen contingency.
Asante Kotoko SC will leave Ghana in July 15, 2024 as their tour seek to intensify their preparation for the 2024-25 season.
This tour, if it happens, will be a constant thing Asante Kotoko SC have been doing in time past and recent years.
The club toured Eastern Africa in Sudan before the start of the 2022/23 season where they held friendly games against Al Hilal Ormduman, however, had a topsy-turvy season failing to defend the league they won a season before.
The "Porcupine Warriors" are having a difficult start to the 2023-24 season but have started to pick up the pieces which they will relish it continues so as to earn a spot in Africa next season.
