Ghana legend supports his children despite critics

Former Black Stars skipper, Abedi Ayew who is known as Abedi Ayew Pele jumps to the defense of his children as Ghanaians criticize them due to their dip in form at the national team.

The Ayew brothers have over the years faced a lot of critics as many football people think their performance is below par and doesn't deserve to be called to the senior national team again as they have nothing to offer the Black Stars.

In an interview, the former AFCON winner says his kids have never gotten it wrong.

"They've never got it wrong. They never left me alone when I was playing. It was the same so I've nothing wrong with it," Abedi Ayew said.

"It is because they know you have it and can do it, that's why they come at you. If you don't have it, no one will call your name. If you're determined and good, everybody will come to you," he added.

Andre Ayew, who joined French side Le Havre few weeks ago and his younger brother Jordan Ayew have featured in close to 200 games for Ghana.
