Ghana sets date to begin camping ahead of AFCON tournament

 The Ghana Football Association, GFA, have set Sunday, December 31, 2023 to begin camping for the Black Stars prior to the start of the Africa Cup of Nations, AFCON 2023 to be held in Ivory Coast in January.



The team will start assembling in South Africa where they will face off in a final friendly encounter against Botswana to set the tone for the tournament in a ten days camping.


Ghana will be chasing for her fifth AFCON title after 42 years and will be going through intense training regime throughout the period behind close doors to sharpen the rough edges ahead of the tournament.


Ghana are in Group B alongside Egypt, Mozambique and Cape Verde.
