Ghana Premier League side, Accra Hearts of Oak have recorded more losses in the 2023 calendar year than wins with few days to end 2023 year.
The twenty-one times Ghanaian champions have seen only eleven (11) wins in 39 games they've honoured this year giving away 71 points and amassing a paltry 46, mirroring the state of the club on the field of play.
Hearts of Oak recorded vital wins against bitter rivals Asante Kotoko, King Faisal, Nsoatreman FC (2 times), Medeama SC (2 times), Accra Lions (2 times), Tamale City, Berekum Chelsea and Kotoku Royals.
Fifteen (15) of the games played have come through defeat with thirteen (13) being draws within that time spate for Hearts of Oak.
The club started the year with a 2-1 defeat to Bechem United at the Accra Sports Stadium but will have an opportunity to finish it on a brighter note against Accra Great Olympics on the 31st December, 2023 in the Round 16 of the Ghana Premier League.
The "Phobia" side have seen tremendous improvement off the pitch in recent times with some development in infrastructural project at Pobiman and club house which is almost complete.
Hearts of Oak come up against Nations FC on Saturday for their Match Day 15 fixture of the Ghana Premier League at the Dr. Kwame Kyei Sports Complex at Abrankese before ending it with Great Olympics.
