Former coach of Heart of Lions, Abdul Fatawu Salifu has expressed his appreciations to every individual at the club that saw his stay a memorable one.
The Ghana Premier League club announced the sacking of the coach on Thursday, December 14, 2023 after some poor round of form in the 2023-24 season of the Ghana Premier League where they languish at the bottom of the league table.
In his final message to the club on his Facebook page, Salifu insisted that he received every support he needed to strive but believes there was the need to have a change of hand at the technical level for the betterment of the club.
Heart of Lions are bottom of the league table with 8 points after 14 games without a single win.
