Black Stars midfielder, Majeed Ashimeru has been declared fit for Ghana's final group stage game against Mozambique on Monday night.
The player picked up a knock in Ghana's 2-2 draw against Egypt on Thursday where he was forced to be substituted for Iddrisu Baba after exhibited exhilarating performance.
Medical checks have been conducted by the FA's medical team and it is set for the RC Anderlecht midfielder to take the field again as Ghana chases for qualification into the next round of the competition.
“He was thoroughly assessed by the medical team after the game with further checks carried out on Friday. The medical team is confident about the progress made and will continue to assess him Saturday afternoon before training,” the Ghana Football Association states.
“The Anderlecht player is in line for his third consecutive appearance for Ghana after starting the first two games against Cape Verde and Egypt."
