The Black Stars of Ghana have exited the ongoing Africa Cup of Nations tournament in Ivory Coast after Cameroon defeated The Gambia by 3-2 in Group D's last Match fixtures.
The result for Cameroon means Cameroon will push up the ladder on the table for best third place finish in the tournament leaving Ghana with no option than to leave Ivory Coast, host nation.
Ghana blew away a 2-0 lead on the 89th minutes to negotiate a 2-2 draw game against Mozambique on Monday night Abidjan at the Alassane Ouattara Stadium.
A victory would have automatically placed Ghana amongst the final 16 countries in the tournament but failed to hold on to the lead with six minutes of added time.
The exit means Ghana has ignominously exited back-to-back Africa Cup of Nations at the group stages recording a worst outing by the powerhouse of Africa Football.
