Head coach of Mozambique, Chiquinho Conde, believes Ghana has the advantage to beat Mozambique due to Black Stars' ability to fully recover after their game against Egypt before they played against Cape Verde.
After Ghana's 2-2 draw against Egypt on Thursday, Mozambique had to wait on Friday to be hammered 3-0 by Cape Verde which Conde sees as an urge for Ghana against his side.
Speaking ahead of the Ghana on Monday night where both countries will be seeking for a win for qualification to the next stage of the competition, the experience manager postulate how the team's limited time to rest has negatively affected their preparation for the game.
"We did not have much time to rest, we have had only 48 hours after our match against Cape Verde but the Ghana team has had 72 hours for rest. My players are tired both physically and mentally, so we are doing our best to ensure that our players are motivated and ready for the match".
Mozambique surprised seven-times holders, Egypt in their opening game in a 2-2 draw game and will be coming into Monday's game against Ghana with all will to get a three points.
