Black Stars: Old players visit team camp in Ivory Coast ahead final group stage game

 Legends of the Black Stars were in Ivory Coast on Saturday to visit the camp of the current squad in the ongoing AFCON to provide inspiration ahead of their crucial final game on Monday against Mozambique.


The likes of Osei Kofi who won three of Ghana's four AFCON was part of the contingent to meet the team including Willie Klutse, James Kuuku Dadzie and Kofi Pare. 

The legends have been in Ivory Coast for the past week and will be at the grounds when Ghana takes on Mozambique in their next game. 

Ghana's four historical AFCON triumphant was last won in 1982, 42 years ago in Libya, and it has necessitated the quest to breaking that jinx in years ongoing tournament.

The Black Stars lost their first game of the group to Cape Verde by 2-1 before painfully giving away two points in their game against Egypt which ended 2-2 at the Stade Felix Houphuoet-Boigny last Thursday.

Ghana will make it to the next round of the competition should they beat Mozambique on Monday night and will be upgrade on their last AFCON in Cameroon where they ignominously exit at the group stage with only a point.
