Ghana Premier League: Match Report - Heart of Lions leave it late to snatch a point against Medeama

 The last outstanding League game for the first round of the Ghana Premier League was honoured between Heart of Lions and Medeama SC at the Hohoe Sports Stadium which ended 2-2.

Late goals by Ebenezer Abban and Ruben Hennessey by the home side cancelled Osah Bernardino Tetteh and Ruben Hennessey's own goals for Medeama SC in both halves.

Bernardino Tetteh put the visitors ahead on the 34th minute after creating the most decent chances of the game. 

The goal was enough to lead Medeama SC 1-0 into the break as victory was in sight. 

In the second half, the final 20 minutes had a fascinating ending to the game where it registered three goals. 

Ruben Hennessey made it two for Medeama SC on the 72nd second when he slotted the ball home into his own net to give Medeama SC a 2-0 lead. 

On the 80th minute, Ebenezer Abban reduced the deficit for Heart of Lions to inspire some hopes of a come back into the game which yielded positive results. 

Ruben Hennessey redeemed himself with the equalizer on the 90+4' minutes to write off his earlier own goal which ended the game 2-2. 

Heart of Lions could not leap away from the bottom of the league table after observing all their outstanding games even though, had an impressive last three games, they reduced the gap to only two points from the drop zone after 17 games with 15 points.
