Jordan Ayew jets off to Ghana from England

Ghanaian striker Jordan Ayew, has jetted off from England to the Kotoka International Airport to join the Black Stars for the Pre-AFCON camping.

The 31-year-old left his club, Crystal Palace, on Tuesday afternoon to Ghana as the country starts preparation for the Africa Cup of Nations to be held in Ivory Coast.

It is expected he joins the team camp in Kumasi later on Tuesday for their ten days secret camping.

Ghana will be entering the tournament with a particular aim of breaking a 42-year-jinx which has lingered since 1982.

Ghana's preparation to the tournament requires the experience of Jordan Ayew who has proven a good player, statistically, to achieve this feet.

He has contributed to seven goals to Crystal Palace this season leaving his side mid-table before leaving for the AFCON.
