The 18-year-old is in contention with other two players in Argentinian youngster, Alexandro Garnacho and ever young Johnny Evans who have displayed exceptional football for the club over the the cause of the month.
He featured in five games in December 2023 for the 20-times English champions providing a solid protection to the back four for Eric ten Hag's side.
His superlative performance during the summer preseason in Asia afforded the Dutch manager some luxury to expect the panacea to the club's defensive midfield woes.
However, an injury he sustained thwarted the strategies gathered during the preseason heading toward the 2023-24 season in England.
