West Ham United boss praises Kudus for his brace against Egypt

Manager for English Premier League side, West Ham United, David Moyes has reiterated on the qualities of Kudus Mohammed and is glad player gotten it at the big stage.

Kudus scored a brace for Ghana against Egypt in Black Stars second group stage game in the ongoing Africa Cup of Nations in Ivory Coast.

The former Ajax Amsterdam playmaker missed the first game for Ghana where they lost to Cape Verde by 2-1 due to an injury he sustained at West Ham United prior to the start of the tournament.

His return on Thursday set Ghana alive for a must win encounter but for some horrendous mistakes by the Ghana team canceled out his goals which denied them all the three points in the game.

"It was great for Mohammed to score two really good goals for his country. We know his qualities and he's done so great for us, and now he's showing it at the big stage", Moyes said.

Ghana has a game left to spare against Mozambique on Monday night in a must win game to have a fair chance of making to the next stage of the competition.

With Kudus bot recording any injury woes after the game against Egypt, barring any unforeseen contingency, Ghana are on the road to picking up the expected results in their subsequent game.
