GFA interviews Donadoni and Blanc for Black Stars job

 The GFA have interviewes two experienced coaches in Laurent Blanc and Roberto Donadoni for the vacant Black Stars job after the sacking of Chris Hughton following an abysmal performance in the Africa Cup of Nations in Cote D'Ivoire.



The Ghana Football Association set up a 5-member committee to make a search for the next coach headed by Vice President Mark Addo. 

Criteria for next Black Stars coach

1. A potential winner with top national team

2. understanding a philosophy that aligns with Ghana DNA

3. Must have highest football license and 15 years experience

4. Proven track record in team reconstruction, organisation and development of young talent

5. A proven disciplinarian and tactical leadership skills.

    
In the wake of the search, names popped up including former coach Otto Addo 
who was tipped as the front runner to return to Ghana's dugout after his spell in the 2022 FIFA World Cup mundial in Qatar.
    
The GFA have went further to interview the two experienced French gaffer and Italian winner to be key in winning the coaching right for the Black Stars.

Laurent Blanc who was a World Cup winner in 1998 had stints with Bordeaux, France, PSG, Al Rayyan until his last job with L'Olympique Lyonnaise in the French Lig 1 last year.



Donadoni was the man in charge when Italy went to EURO 2008 in Austria/Switzerland as he has been with Napoli, Cagliari, Parma and some other Italian clubs till his last job with Shenzhen in China 4 years ago.
