Kudus is an exciting player - Frederick Kanoute

One of the legends of African Football, Frederick Oumar Kanoute has heaped praises on Ghanaian talisman Mohammed Kudus for his stellar performance in football over the years.

The young Ghanaian international had his training in Ghana at Right to Dream Academy before making a move to Nordsjaelland in Denmark.

After his brilliant start in Denmark, Kudus caught the eyes of four-times European Champions Ajax Amsterdam as he made a sensational move into the Eredivise where he spent 3 years with the Dutch club.

Mohammed Kudus is now with West Ham United in the Premier League where he is getting a lot of accolades and stealing the headlines following his £38m move from Ajax as he got the former Europa League winner talking.

The 2007 CAF Best Player speaking on a Podcast show described how he sees Mohammed Kudus. "He is really talented, he has everything.

He has strength, running forward, he can play different positions. Still quite young but yeah I think yeah he is one of the most exciting African footballers around these days so yeah he definitely has a chance for me".

Mohammed Kudus played for the Black Starlets in India during the U-17 FIFA World Cup where he played a key role in the Ghana team.

Besides he played the AFCON U-20 tournament in Niger in 2019 but could not make it into the World Cup.

Mohammed Kudus scored twice at the FIFA World Cup in 2022 in Qatar as he scored in Ghana's 3-2 win over South Korea alongside the loss to Portugal and Uruguay as the Black Stars failed to progress beyond the group stages.

The young Ghanaian prodigy made his debut in this year's AFCON in Ivory Coast where the Black Stars ended in the group stages after failing to win a single game.
