Abraham Baffour: a Ghanaian in the Brazilian league

 The adventure of Ghanaian footballers knows no lust as one is found in the famous Brazilian league with Fluminense as the team prepares for the 2024/25 season.

19-year-old Ghanaian Abraham Baffour has joined the senior team of Fluminense after signing a professional contract with the club days ago to surge on his career path as a footballer.


Having joined from the club's U-20 side, he is looking forward to gaining much more playing time in subsequent seasons to shape his dreams of reaching the top echelons of world football.

Playing along side returnee Thiago Silva in the Brazilian league for Fluminense will be a cherished dream harnessed for a life time as the former Chelsea defender inspires him during a group training.

Records indicate that, Ghana has one of the most transferred footballers outside the country and Abraham Baffour is one who can add to the lights players have given Ghana in recent times.

The midfielder has an option to play for Ghana even though he has been in the North American country for a while.

The 2024/25 season will seek to give the youngster a favouring platform to develop his craft on the highest level that has produced the likes of Vinicius Jnr, Rodrygo Goes, Endrick, in recent times.
