Asante Kotoko announce Steven Mukwala's exit

 Ghana Premier League side Asante Kotoko SC have announced the departure of Ugandan striker Steven Dese Mukwala after two seasons with the club.

The former KCCA FC striker leaves the Porcupine Warriors after the expiration of his contract which both parties could not reach agreement on renewal.

The Ugandan national team striker has been the club's top scorer in his two-seasons in Kumasi, scoring fourteen (14) times and assisting two in the just ended 2023/24 Ghana Premier League season.

Transfer rumors surrounding Mukwala indicates that Tanzanian clubs are in full chase for his signature and will likely feature in the Tanzanian League next season.

He is one of the nineteen (19) players the club released after the 2023/24 season.

Asante Kotoko, in a statement, have thanked the player for his service and wish him well in his future endeavors.
