Ghanaian international Denis Odoi has joined Belgian side Royal Antwerp on a two-year-deal following the expiration of his contract with Club Brugge.
The 36-year-old's move to Royal Antwerp provides him the opportunity to continue play at the highest level of club football having had stint in the English Premier League with Fulham where he played for six seasons.
He has recently been integral at the international level for Ghana where he participated in Ghana's last two major international tournaments at the Qatar 2022 World Cup and AFCON 2023 at Ivory Coast.
The experienced defender won the Belgian Super League twice with Anderletch during the 2011/12 and 2012/13 season and with Club Brugge during the 2021/22 season.
Having enjoyed 24 games with Club Brugge last season lasting 1031 minutes with two goals, the Mark van Bommel side have secured a committed versatile player who can help secure the league title next season after finishing 3rd last season as defending champions.
