It is expected that he take part of Asante Kotoko SC's upcoming game against Hearts of Oak in the maiden Democracy Cup to be staged at the Accra Sports Stadium in July 2025.

The Porcupine Warriors resumed training on Friday from a two-weeks break after the end of the 2023/24 Ghana Football League season to start preparation for the game.

The arrival of the 21-year-old will keep the team in shape not only for the game against Hearts of Oak but also preparation for the 2024/25 season which Asante Kotoko SC will live to correct the wrongs observed for the past two seasons.

Asante Kotoko SC sacked twenty-one (21) player after the season citing reasons of insurbodination and unsporting behaviour throughout the season and are left with less than ten (10) players within the current squad.

Aside Abdul Hamid, Asante Kotoko SC will be having other foreign players into the country next week.
