JUST IN: Enock Morrison leaves Asante Kotoko

Asante Kotoko SC have terminated the contract of midfielder, Enock Morrison with a year left on his running contract with the club.

Morrison becomes the 21st player to leave the club following the termination of contract of other players after the 2023/24 Ghana Football season.

Reports indicate that head coach of the club Proper Narteh Ogum informed the player of not needing his service for the 2024/25 season, thereby abrogating his deal.

Reasons as to why Enock Morrison is leaving the club is clearly not known unlike those who were sacked last week due to unsporting behaviour throughout last season.

The decision means that the former Kumasi King Faisal midfielder will not be part of Asante Kotoko SC's team for the upcoming maiden edition of the Democracy Cup at the Accra Sports Stadium next month against Hearts of Oak.

He was crucial for the club's performance in the latter end of last season when most of the players of the club were not available due to injuries and suspensions.
