SSS Lazio of Italy, are in dire need of Ghanaian center half, Alexander Djiku who plies his trade in the Turkish league for Fenerbache.
Djiku moved to Turkey after the 2022/23 season where he had his last stint in the French league with Strasbourg after several years in the Ligue 1.
The 29-year-old pulled off a staggering performance in the 2023/24 season for Fenerbache with he became a cult hero in his first season scoring three times and assisting one in the 25 matches which has improved his market value to double figures.
Lazio will be tempting to offer the Turkish side with €10 million to help solidify the backline of the Rome side heading towards the 2024/25 season after finishing behind bitter rivals AS ROMA last season on the league log.
Having appointed Jose Mourinho as the club's new manager which received hundreds of thousands of viewership during his inauguration at the Sukru Saracogl Stadium, it remains doubtful whether the Black Stars defender will move to Italy after one year in Turkey.
